adults

for reals, yo!

word
More and more over the past couple months, as I’m browsing flickr or deviantart at work, I get a feeling that society today is living vicariously through the images of other peoples lives. Examining their beauty, categorizing their lives, and noteing the composition of each picture as if it all made up that individuals persona. I myself do this to an extent. What I don’t want to happen is to see future generations live this way exclusively and have thier only interaction with people through a glowing box. To not experience the sight a beautiful woman, or man, face to face; to not experience sitting with friends at a coffee shop till 2am talking about gossip, or just interacting with other people in general seems like a rather bleak future.

spam is beautiful!

As for my affections, battered and
exhausted as they ought to have been in many literary passions, they
never went out with fresher enjoyment than they did to the charming story
of 'L'Ami Fritz,' which, when I merely name it, breathes the spring sun
and air about me, and fills my senses with the beauty and sweetness of
cherry blossoms.
